I doubt Tony is really evil as he didn't crash the planes.

Loved how Bauer can spot a bad guy by his shoes. :lol:

Took me a while to figure that other computer bloke being Billy Walsh from Entourage.
And we get the first Bauer Kill :clap:
Not sure if the kill count is 1 or 2 ad they both shot the other guy

Enjoying it so far, although Janeane Garofolo is a sub-par Chloe.

Not too keen on the new Chief of Staff - very wooden and not a patch on Mike Novick or Tom Lennox.
What a top double header, banging through all that was shown in the trailer. Even getting the mole in the FBI bit knocked through quickly!
Jack vs. Tony was too short though!
I'm glad that this new direction for 24 has given us such fresh material as sarcastic computer geek, superior who mistrusts Jack's loose cannon ways and a mole in <s>CTU</s> the FBI.
There is some amusement to be had in watching Jack run around in a brown mac with his shirt tucked in like Roy Cropper with a gun.

The FBI Chief says there are three dead bodies at the apartment to the girl with glasses. Whats that all about ?
I hope Billy Walsh still has his "Suits suck!" t-shirt on underneath.
Also, is it just me, or does the main FBI bloke have a Michael Douglas look about him.

Sooooooooooooooo George Michael and his motley crew can interfere with landing aircraft miles away at JFK so presumably have the whole of the USA to chose their evil lair location, but once again they encamp themselves on a boat within a few short minutes' drive of Jack and Freckles? :cuckoo:

When's Chloe going to come in to connect the sockets to save the day? She was at the season launch party the other day ... dammit chloe, get back on our screens!

Looks like Renee is taking over as this season's "DAMN IT!" specialist, with twice as many as Jack this episode. He did get his first one in though, so I guess my previous comment was moot.
As too, was my comment about Ford who clearly have Fox under their belt. Poor Toyota, sponsorship deals are so fickle. :(
He did get some "...NOW!" orders in during the shipyard scene though, so it's only a matter of time before he swaps his shirt and tie for a t-shirt and manbag.
I loved Fat Tony's explanation: "I'm not going to tell you my demands, instead conforming to the cliché of remaining enigmatically evil until the last minute, thus allowing you time to mobilise your intelligence units so you can stop me."
Well, something like that anyway. I don't buy into him being evil, mind, I think the bad guys have captured his mother/father/dog/goldfish and have him under duress. Perhaps threatening to cut off his supply of pies until he does what they ask.
I'm not giving Jack a kill this episode either, since <s>Han</s> Renee clearly fired first, and the sniper was killed by the other bad guy. OK, maybe half a mark for using him as a human shield.
First perimeter of the series was set up, here's to many more in the upcoming episodes, undoubtedly all of them as easy to penetrate as Paris Hilton.
Highlander fans will be no doubt whooping at the appearance of Methos with his **** American accent. I certainly was. (Glances at silicon board in a suitcase) "Yeah, this looks complicated enough to be a device that can cause massive carnage. Look, it's got a transistor and a blue light and everything!"
To be honest, this was pretty mundane until the end with lots of driving around and hand-wringing in the Oval Office. Just bring on the Candyman and the Oscar-winner already.

Don't normally go for redheads but have to admit this one is up there with Hot Doc from Prison Break.
Tony has go to be deep undercover for sure. And not only that but we know Jack will go rogue once he realises most of the FBI have been made corrupt. Any bets on Agent Walker being a corrupt agent ?
I just want to know when will Jack get his Jack Bag, it is not right seeing him without that magic bag :D

Thank you! I spent the whole show wondering "who is he?" before deciding that I didn't actually recognise him and that the producers had just hired a cheap Peter Petrelli :lol:

Not much tension or excitement in the first two episodes. Its all bit same old, same old...
Curse The Wire for being so good and making regular TV like an episode of Knight Rider.

Great to have my beloved 24 back
Some stupid stuff (another mole ffs? I thought we were starting afresh?) but overall a very good start. Jack running around with a mac on was hilarious. No way on earth is Tony bad – he’s deep, deep undercover baby and within 2 hours it’ll be back to the ‘Jack & Tony show’. Love it. Chloe needs to come back asap – do they have a crèche at the FBI for the kid? What about Morris, maybe he can come back and help but still hold the baby?
That deletion program on the laptop – WTF? I was screaming “JUST PULL OUT THE GOD DAMN BATTERY YOU FOOL!” but she couldn’t hear me :(
Also loved the fact Jack was going to rip that guy’s eye out with the Pen.
