please help asap

im new but please help i have just purchased a Advent 7002 laptop from pcworld which comes with a built in DVD and CDRW drive (Mat****a ujjda710) how can i make it multiregion. it curently gives me a menu whenever i insert a non region 2 disk and gives me the option of changing region but only 4 times after that its locked is there anyway around this. also while your here it comes with an S-video out to conect it to the TV if i do this can i record my DVDs to VHS or will macrovision be enabled.

have a read thru http://faq.inmatrix.com/ and download driveinfo to see what drive you have, the firmware version and region etc (link is given in the faq under 'How can I find out if my DVD drive is region locked?' ). If you need to flash it for region free then go to http://perso.club-internet.fr/farzeno/firmware/ to see if they have a patch for your drive, download that and follow the instructions CAREFULLY
