Hi all, wasnt sure if there was a previous thread on the subject but im after purchasing a USB Hub.
Preferably with no need for external power, with 4+ USB ports on it, and well, cheap as possible ;)

Any advice on a good make and supplier much appreciated.

If you don't want a powered hub, how about one of these:

http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/uhm4/

You do get a power supply with it, but you don't have to use it, and it's *tiny* :nuts:

Not exactly cheap though.

I got my Hama 4 port hub from 7DayShop - arrived yesterday, its great, small, doesn't need power supply and looks quite nice.

You should be pleased with it :D

Try this;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2001078827

This is exactly what I wanted (basically a plug splitter) and it's good quality too. They regularaly sell for £13, or instantly for £15.

I just use my monitor (:D built in 4 port USB hub)

Maybe nort much use to anyone else but if you are buying a new monitor then look out for one with a hub. It saves desk space, and is also powered (i think anyway).

Also some keyboards (m$ ones) have a built in USB hub, but i dont know much about them.
