View Full Version : Is Jet-li's uncle in Kiss of the Dragon the bloke from Banzai?

I watched KotD a few weeks ago and the uncle who owns the resaurant sounds exactly like one of the guys from Banzai. I remember his name was Burt Kwouk, and one of the narrators of Banzai is Burt Kwouk. Is it the same guy?

yep I think so (not seen KOTD though)

You may also know Bert from such programs as The Harry Hill Show and Tenko and the Pink Panther films

To me he will always be Kato from the Clouseau films :D

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I find that old man looks very much like Bruce Lee. Infact, that's how I would imagine him to look if he is still with us today (ok, maybe a little younger). Especially when he says the word "alive" during one of the scenes with Jet Li. His facial express, his tone..... it's uncanny!
