After hiding out and watching through the entire first series of Ranma 1/2 I've finally added my review to the DVD Times site: http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=629&story=2757

Would be interested to know what others who've seen the show think of it, as it's the first time I've ever watched it and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

I've seen one of the Ranma movies, Nihao My Concubine, and it's fairly good... silly and shallow, but entertaining. However, my real love lies in Rumiko Takahashi's original Ranma 1/2 books, which are amazing.

Very, very funny, exciting - yes, silly and shallow, but it's comic writing par excellence.

Rumikos other comics are great too, especially Urusei Yatsura and Inu Yasha.

I'm currently watching my way through Urusei Yatsura and enjoying it a lot - these really are more or less my first exposure to anime, and I don't think I'd have chosen it any other way.
