Can a 3 sim be used in an unlocked blackberry curve?

As the title - i have a blackberry curve which is sim unlocked. Any ideas if a 3 sim will work in it?

Sorry I have little idea about the 3 network at the moment and am just looking into it!

In theory it shouldn't matter as long as its 3G. I use my 3 Sim in an unlocked O2 Orbit with no issues

yeah but you wont be able to use the internet or the email parts as you need your network provider to activate BIS on your account but as three dont support this your a bit out of luck
