Anyone know where I can find a review of the uncut R2 DVD of Jean Genet's 'Querelle' which was released on Second Sight 21/1/02?

I want to know what the transfer is like, whether the release is anamorphic and is this version dubbed in English? As I don't seem to be able to find a review of this release anywhere perhaps its release date has been delayed or maybe there's no interest in 'art-house' works from directors such as Fassbinder on any DVD review sites?

Cheers anyway...

Superb film. If you find any info, let me know! :)

Both R1 and R2 versions have the dubbed English tracks and both are anamorphic.

...erm... in what way is the R2/UK disc 'uncut', compared to the R1/USA disc, which contains an 'unrated' version of the movie (which is reportedly about 2 minutes longer than the theatrical version originally released in the USA)... ?

. . . . . .

Good to know R2 version is anamorphic. Anyone seen R2 version to know what transfer is like and how this uncut version differs from the video release?
Cheers
