I just tried it. After going through all the rigmarole of registering (which took ages because their auto-address-finder didn't agree with my address - apparently, in cyberworld, my village doesn't exist; computers always insist that I live in the nearest city, 7 miles away), I entered the code, pressed 'Validate', and my basket was suddenly empty.
I've lost the will to live. They've lost a customer.
Very tempted. Agree with Ecuador re the checkout: they want your DOB and a mob no (had to invent one!) and the usual ballcox where they say they know better than you where you live.

Thanks Alan, didn't order one but spotted the Samsung SM932MW TV monitor for £139.99 on their site.
I was going to order it from Amazon for £142.80 but have given these guys a go as I'm hoping their 'next day' delivery to the Shetland Isles will be a bit quicker than Amazon's supersaver delivery. Plus I'm a sucker for a freebie, especially when it's alcohol!
Order gone in - free delivery and bottle of Chateau Bois Pertuis 2004
Ta, Alan.

still bit confused on warranty length, have emailed Philips but no reply yet.
incase anyone was wondering, got a reply fro Philips about the warranty:
Dear Mr. Bigup,
Thank you for contacting Philips regarding your 200BW8ES/05.

Pretty impressive for an £85 monitor :)
hows the monitor mate?
Looking good, tho' I'm no expert. My first WS and takes some adjusting to! The field of view is not that wide (in fact if you aren't centred on the screen the far end starts to grey!). As mentioned, default brightness is set at max for some reason. Should say that box had been re-sealed so we might be looking at bankrupt stock here. Build date is June 2007.
yeh mine same aswell mate
does the warranty start from purchase date or build date?
