Hi guys,
I've looked at the Futurama box set scans posted in the forum. In the languages box at the back only English is listed.
In an Italian forum a guy said that he bought the R2 boxset and found out that before the menu screen you are prompted to choose English, Italian or German, then the whole episodes, menu and extras are translated in those languages.
Anyone who bought the first Futurama season on DVD can confirm that? It will be very helpful for me and other Italian or German Futurama fans.
Thanks...
marqo

My copy (from WH Smiths) doesn't prompt you before the menus. The languages section has about 3 or 4 choices. Can't remember the details as I've only been in there once.

The Futurama set includes English, French and Italian Soundtracks for the episodes, with optional English, French, Italian and Dutch subtitles.

When I put the disc into my player I do not get any menu asking me what language I wish to use, but, if I change my DVD Players Language settings (I can set default Audio, Subtitle language settings) to, for example, French, the Menu's are displayed in French, and when I choose to listen to the Audio Commentaries or watch Deleted Scenes/Featurettes I am provided with French subtitles.

The same is true for the Italian language. There are no menus or extra subtitles (for commentaries, deleted scenes etc) for Dutch, German or any other languages.

hope this helps.

dave.

edit: I have updated my review (link in sig) to add these findings (under the 'DVD' section).
