Transferring text messages from one phone to another?

Bought my missus a new phone for Christmas (Moto V3i - she's on PAYG) and set it up for her today but the text messages on her old beast (Moto V220) haven't transferred over on the SIM, other than three old ones (which I guess went onto the SIM on a previous phone).

To make her a little happier about her new phone, anyone know if there is a way to transfer over the texts from her V220 to the V3i please?:help:

you can't bluetooth them or anything like that, the only option you might have is if the v220 has a save message function which normaly put them on the sim. but IRRC you can only store 10-20 text on the sim..
