I've a 8Gb iPhone and the last thing I did was add in some songs downloaded from the Amazon MP3 Site (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=8).
Anyway, iTunes warned me that there was insufficient space for the new music and would I like to remove some photos. I replied yes.
After the reorganisation I've noticed a large 460Mb of space is now taken up with Other (the orange part of the bar on iTunes).
Does anyone know what this is containing - online seems to suggest album photos or maybe playlists. I can't see I've gained 400Mb worth of extra data by adding just 4 albums. as it was around 50Mb before.
Is there a way of forcing the iPhone to clear itself of music and reload in a fresh copy of music/photos/playlists without clearing the iphone completely?
