Wharfedale and SVCDs

I have a second generation Wharfedale 750.
Does anyone know if these are compatible with SVCDs (VCDs work OK).

When you say second generation 750 do you mean the s version or really just the 750?
If its the 750s then I can confirm it does play SVCDs , been using them to store stuff off my Sky+ box until I can afford a DVD-R burner.

Not sure about the 750 , seems to be mixed responses on http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=509&Search=Search&list=0#comments
I imagine its a mishmash of 750 and 750s
