Just been in the Asda at Minworth (SUtton Coldfield) and they had a big dump bin of electrical clearance bits half price or less I got:
Philips USB battery charger with 4*2100mA batts for 3.50
Targus USB numeric keypad for £4
3in1 Firwaire cable for £3 (mine came with a free security tag)
and a box of 10 tdk -R disks in a solid plastic box for 96p
They also had lots of other chargers at a similar price - car ones and mircro ones.
Worth a look if your are passing or your local store
