meh - they've taken the mick recently with these, sending broken stuff, not even any mention of any decent items (ie laptops/tv etc) benig included for some lucky people.

EDIT: Thought I best say that I've never had anything but excellent service from Boffer/Bigpockets so i'm in no way complaining about that, just this particular item.

Is that true? I've never bought one myself, but thought it was a novel way to get rid of unwanted stock, but if it's just broken stuff, that's not really good. BOC as a marketing tool to shift tat is fine, but to shift broken stuff, well it's just not cricket, etc.

I remember a toy shop in Canterbury that used to have a boxes and boxes of broken toys for sale. It used to make me laugh, becuase the prices were still quite high and they'd be games with bits missing and action figures with one leg and pointy plastic bits where a bits of them had been sheared off at some point. Boot Fair, maybe, real shop, nah.

£10.98 with shipping. Are they having a giraffe?! Maybe if they listed what you could get then fair enough. But spending £11 on scart leads, dvd cases and 512mb data sticks is the last thing on my mind!

Glad it is not just me who is starting to see through this "bargain", seems there are plenty of others about as well, -345 degrees on ********** as I type and MSE are giving it a pounding too.

Yeah I got two broken mp3 players in my last BOC so won't be taking the plunge again.First one was decent though.

Yep, I've had broken MP3 players too. One of them looked like it had passed through the digestive tract of a large mammal.

Interesting that Big Pockets don't seem to want to defend their 'bargain'. They used to be so vocal on here...

My last BOC also contained two broken MP3 players. Not recommended.

I think it was fine at £1.99 or £2.99 but £4.99 is taking it a big too high.

Personally i think they should drop this atm and consentrate on CS as the reviews for both BP and Boffer over the last few months have been not great, which is a shame as their CS was so good. Maybe the seen the $$$

Looks like ebuyer is getting into the crap market too. Competition can only push quality up
