Friend of mine is looking for a cheap multi-region player around the £100 mark - a high-street model would be a bonus, if reasonable quality, as he wants to buy it tomorrow.

I've always got on really well with my Lecson (now about 150 quid from Debenhams). Multi-region handset hack, plays RCE etc, very few incompatibility probs.

None of my local Tescos have any Dansai's left. Just the LG with 20 DVDs for £199. :(
