Toshiba Regza 37XV555DB - Please Help!

Have just bought this LCD, And I am having a few problems with it - anyone who has this tv or can help..

1) Auto Input Switching -

I have Sky+ connected via rgb scart, and a PS3 via HDMI. Neither will auto switch to the input when I turn them on. How do I get this to work? I've tried turning regza link on/off with no effect. My last 2 tv's have done this no problem.

2) Sound output - EDIT: Sorted.

I have the tv connected to my hi-fi via L/R phono leads, and whilst I get sound from the PS3, for some reason, I get nothing from sky? Again, something previous tv did without problem.

Also, does anyone have a link to any recommended picture/sound settings for this tv?

Any help with the above would be much appreciated :)

I've got the 32" and it doesnt auto switch. Cant help you with the second one.

Thanks goonieman - Is it the 32XV model you have?

I'm amazed it doesn't seem to do such a simple thing as auto switching? Even el-cheapo sets do this as standard now.

I'm more than slightly disappointed in this tv tbh. Shame I've used it or I would return under the DSR :doh:

If anyone can offer any further ideas/help on either of the above, would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so the sound issue has sorted itself out. Turned sky on just now to find it's coming through the hi-fi.

Any help or ideas on the auto switching and settings would be much appreciated.

Not sure how helpful it will be but there is a thread on avforums regarding the cv versions - search "Regza cv" in the Lcd forum.

It may be a starting point on the settings issues
