I need to send my Hitch Hiker's Guide DVD set back to 101cd as the second disc had come loose in the (very poor) cardboard packaging and now has marks on it that affect playback!
It's my first order from them so I've no experience of their customer service. Has anyone else used them and do they deal with replacements quickly and without too much hassle?
Would I get a better response by emailing them or giving them a ring?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Dear Forum Members,
I'm the MD at 101cd.com - It is our objective to ensure no-one has a bad experience of our service. If you have any queries relating to an order please email in the first instance to service@101cd.com - if you are not satisifed with the response please contact the customer service manager Dina at dina@101cd.com - if that doesn't work you can email me directly at paul@101cd.com and I will sort out any problems you have. Please be patient as it can sometimes get a bit busy around here.
Bargain Basement - A Note:
Our bargain basement generally has only 1 or 2 copies of any title shown. At present the title remains in the BB during the day once it has sold, it is taken off at night and the whole of the BB stock is refreshed. We are working to show active stock, including orders, however we often have people backing out and this is not fair - but we'll live with that and the stock shown will be more accurate.
Lastly if anyone has any comments, suggestions or criticisms I would be delighted to here from you.
All the best.

Seeing as we’re cutting and pasting:
The age of these threads and the recent bumps tells me all I need to know about current practices.
Too little too late.

I love these retailers who think that they can somehow justify their shoddy practices after the event.
It shows a total lack of understanding of their customers by assuming they will believe anything they are told. ALL retailers need new and repeat custom and to beg your customers to use your business in this way only tells them you assume they are mindless purses wanting to be emptied.
Keep it up and go out of business. You will at least then provide us with a moments entertainment.
Cut 'n' pasted.
