Grrrr I got this from Amazon for £35 a month ago :(

I'll see if I can get the difference refunded although may be a couple of days too late.

They scrapped the money back. I tried to get a refund for £5 anyway last week and was turned down after only two days.

There's a top 50 must see bd's? It's a cracking set, wonderful camera work exquisitely transferred to HD.

My one turned up on Wed. Looks amazing on my 8 foot screen. One to show of your blu-ray player.

Does anyone know if this is Multiregion?

I've got a Region A PS3.

EDIT: Think it says "Region Free" on Amazon details so gone for it :)

Never did replace my HD-DVD version of this.

Considered finally picking it up when it was just under £25, so really finding it hard to resist at this price!

Part of me says hold out and see if it drops any lower, its not as if I dont have plenty of blu-rays/dvds unwatched. BUT I can see me not ordering and then it shooting back up in price or out of stock:(

Suppose its only £20, and I did miss quite a few episodes of the series when it originally aired, oh and its probably one of those disks everyone should have in their blu-ray collection.

Seems like I have persuaded myself to spend more money on blu-rays, cheers OP and Captain Scarlett!

Nice one!

I've been wanting to see this for ages and have been holding off buying the DVD. At £20 for the Blu-Ray it would be rude not to! :D

Bought through the DVD Forums link!

I think he means he will replace it on a format that isn't obsolete. AFAIK, there was no content difference between the two formats.

Glad I ordered last night.

Good to see a Blu-Ray title at No.1 on the Amazon Bestselling DVDs List. :p

That's it - I can only play HD-DVD's via my Xbox 360 -with the vacuum cleaner fans drowning out the lack of HD audio - or through my HTPC using PowerDVD - which is flakey as hell, and compresses the audio terribly.

With a bluray version, I can watch it on my near-silent PS3 - with glorious HD audio through my new Onkyo amp too.

I'm upgrading a few of my (many) HD-DVD discs for this reason - but only ones I can get cheap.

Dredging up an old thread rather than starting a new one.....I seemed to miss this deal back when it was originally posted prolly because of xmas.

Went for this on DVD recently on one of the sendit deals of the day and was fortunate enough to notice a few of the sites were doing the Blue Ray boxset for sub £24.99 and had enough time to cancel and order that instead.

Planet Earth Blue Ray Boxset @ £24.99 - HMV (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=10&url=http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1;-1&sku=676017)

Only a small saving of 50p from the price quoted in the original thread title but I think its a steal for what is no doubt perfect material for Blue Ray.
