View Full Version : Play and registered deliveries
Since using Play (long, long time ago), all my parcel's have had registered stickers starting with JR (Jersey I guess), but now they are starting with RB - where are they posting them from?
Anyone else notice this?

Is this why deliveries now take a lot longer than they used to? (Oh for the glory days of "next day delivery")

I also noticed the RB number today (I never saw them before on my Play status scren) But I wouldn't go around calling Belgium a republic with them having a king and all that:D

It just depends where they get the recorded delivery forms from.
Numbers starting RA & RB are issued in the mainland UK, I have had these from my local post office. They are nothing to do with Belgium !
JR were obviously Jersey specific forms. Now they just seem to be using the same number series as the rest of us.

Play should get some insurance cover for deliveries cause signing for parcels sure does ANNOY me.
Surely if 1 in 100 discs went missing and was claimed on insurance or something, this would work out cheaper than sending all R2 out as registered!? Lots of other companies do it.
I have an agreement with my postman for him just to post them through the door without me signing. Makes my life a lot easier.
