Help appreciated with this as until now I have always purchased UK DVDs but I want to get this:

Alison Krauss And Union Station - Live [2002] (NTSC) (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=8&url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000A02WW/thedvdforums-21)

Which is region 0 and NTSC whatever that means.

I have the following and wonder whether I will be able to play it?

Panasonic TH42-PX70 Viera TV

Panasonic DMR -E500H DVD player

I would be grateful for any advice, thank you.

Doh - I have just found out that Region 0 is playable worldwide without restriction - and idea on the NTSC issue though - is it DVD or TV dependant and will I be able to watch it?>

If your TV is in any way a modern one (ie. within the last decade) you'll be fine.
