A well crafted filler episode. Lots of Cameron with a friend contrasting with Johns B story with his 'friend'. Not that we got to learn anything new and important about Cameron. She did treat him, by her standards, in a compassionate manner but ultimately all he was to her was access to a library during night time.
However as it didn't tell us something new this should have been a B story in another epsiode.
Riley's plan seems to lack subtlety, getting John to a party held by a loser doesn't strike me as the best way to get John reintergrated with humanity and out of the clutches of Her.
No Sarah to speak of, did Lena need a week off?
2 more episodes before the 2 month hiatus [The plan that TSCC lost a week as Prison break was to have a 2 part finale seem to have been shelved]

Aren't there only 13 episodes in total this season any way? So not a two month hiatus, but a much longer (maybe infinite) one?

Is it being cancelled after this run then? Or is it just the possibility of cancellation?

I think it's a sly joke since this show has been under danger of cancellation since the ratings for S01E02 came in

Its got mediocre numbers, dropped another 600,000 to 5m. In Feb its moving to Fridays death slot. Realistically the chance of a S3 is slim.

I've got to the stage with it that I'm beyond caring. It just seems to be rambling nowhere with a pointless plot and some poor and lazy scriptwriting.
Wanted to enjoy this and I've given it a fair chance but...... meh.

Rubbish pointless episode, only thing we found out is the meaning of the 3 dots. It`s crap like this that makes programs love viewers and get cancelled

"I work out" lol
Episode was going nowhere until the T888 was found.
What version is Cameron anyway?
BTW: they need to lose Riley from the plot.
Sure, the Riley/John subplot was poor but the Cameron storyline was excellent & a nice change of pace. I'm glad they're trying something different & not relying on the tired "new terminator appears & tries to kill John" every week. I also thought this was easily Summer Glau's best performance yet.
And this week the ratings leapt up to over 5.8 million, so not quite dead yet.
Doesn't Riley have a point though? Isn't she working with Derik's ex-girlfriend?
I thought it was a good ep myself, even though the ending was pretty obvious once they'd made such a big deal over the land rights. So now we know that skynet was going to assassinate the gov. of california (not arnie though!) but not why.
While I'm here, what's happening with Cramatie? I thought he got killed in the pilot? What company was the 3 dots in the end? I missed that

I did wonder if that was one big in-joke.

I did wonder if that was one big in-joke.Wyman was Reagans first wifes maiden name, so yeah.
And they couldn't have used Arnie's name as its against FCC rules to show the fictional death of a real person.

While I'm here, what's happening with Cramatie? I thought he got killed in the pilot? What company was the 3 dots in the end? I missed thatHis head was seperated from his body when Sarah shot him. The head came through time with our Heroes and the body got buried in the rubble. The head then remotely controlled the body and the two were united in a tender scene.
If the 3 dots actually mean anything, we don't know it yet.

An episode of "Las Vegas" featured Jean-Claude Van Damme - as himself - getting killed off in a stunt that goes wrong. IIRC they put a disclaimer at the end saying "No real Jean-Claude Van Dammes were harmed in the making of the show"
Terminator is a Good Show i like to watch this show.I am a fan of this show.John and Sarah face new challenges and try to survive in a world full of enemies. The series is a must watch for all Terminator fans.
Enjoyable episode although very tangental.
Nice to see that not everything goes to plan temporal wise.
Nice bit of subtle fighting over John's future allegiances - would say Riley is winning though after John's smile could have indicated he got lucky ;)

riley storyline is the weak link of s2 and its the main problem of the show, cameron needs to kill ASAP
I liked cameron's story

Nicely crafted episode - the Cameron/Disabled guy interplay was well done and it was intriguing the way Cameron unpicked what Stark had been up to culminating in the terrific moment when she smashed the wall to reveal the hiding terminator. I don't care for the Riley teen-angst/highschooldrama stuff but at least this week we were spared Shirley Manson and the Jesse character - performances which are frankly embarrassing.

When all the other sci-fi serials are getting their continuity in a twist with big overreaching multi-season plots, where each episode only works as a part of the massive whole, it's nice to see Terminator use these almost-self-contained episodes, each contributing a little to the continuing story...

One would almost welcome thermonuclear annihilation just so long as it got Riley in the crossfire.
What the hell does JC see in her?!
