Missing space on 360 hard drive

20gb hard drive,showing as 1.2gb free space,when i try to clear space on it,every thing is empty excet the games folder which only has 3.2gb of things in it,any idea how to re format it without loosing all game saves etc?

Sounds like you need to clean the cache as there might be unfinished downloads in there.

tried that and made no diff,may have to try and borrow a memory card to put the game saves on then format it

I've got the same thing, think there must be a corrupt area somewhere on the disk.

Won't matter soon as I'm data cabling it to a 60GB one.
