hi can anyone help me please i have a Toshiba 43VJ13P Rear Projection Screen TV and its stuck in the standby mode does anyone know what the prob is and how much will it cost to fix or should i just bin it :help:

I vaguely seem to recall with the 40" widescreen Toshiba RPTV that I had some years ago, that when this happened the entire power board needed replacing by a Toshiba engineer. Took weeks to get the engineer out as there were only about 10 kits in existence at any one time, and luckily mine was fixed under warranty.

I'd say bin it as (a) it'd be prohibitively expensive; and (b) not sure Toshiba would even have the spares kit available now. Spend the money on an LCD screen.
