Hitchcock Boxsets - where?

Decided to go for these - any recommendations as to where to pick them up at a decent price? I guess Oz maybe DeVoteD or Crave but thought I'd check.

Be aware that there are differences WRT extras, picutre quality, etc between the Universal discs on different regions. That and the fact that the R2/4 ARs are messed up ! :(

The 'early' films can be picked up cheap, but the Criterion versions are the best to go for ! :cool:

The US boxes are a lot nicer than the R2 ones. Why?

Well, the covers are not as black and white as the R2s, and each box contains an extra disc of Alfred Hitchcock presents episodes. See <a href="http://www.dvdangle.com/reviews/review.php?Id=1535">here</a> for a review of one of the boxes at dvdangle.

If anyone has a place with good prices for the US boxes, then I'd love to know!

Yes _ I can remember a long discussion re these previously but it has now disappeared and there is no search facility obviously. I think I may well do exactly what f_drew suggests and save up for the criterions and then just add the others as and when!
