View Full Version : Texas Chainsaw Massacre cut?
Anybody know if the scene where leatherface is stood in the road swinging his chainsaw around and accidentally cutting into his own leg is in the R2 Texas Chainsaw Massacre DVD?
I acquired a VHS copy of the movie a while ago and it was cut from that version (I remember seeing the scene in the early 80s before it was banned), but with the DVD claiming to be uncut was wondering if that scene (and maybe others) were re-instated.
UK version is uncut. The leg cutting is definitely there.
Cheers. Definately going to add it to my collection.
Bought TCM 2 recently, thinking maybe I had got my movies mixed up and the scene was in that instead. What utter dross. Switched it off after the first 20 mins. Should have taken note of the "Gorier and funnier" tag on the back. The first one wasn't meant to be funny as far as I can tell.

The first one is funny - in a very black way. Maybe you have to watch it a few times to pick up on this.

TCM 2 isn't that good imo, but damn, Dennis Hopper's performance is brilliant! It's 100% pure ham.

To say TCM2 isn't that good is an understatement!

Although it is better than the 4th Chainsaw movie 'The Next Generation' (but not by much!)
Yeah, it's a crap movie really. It isn't very gory and it drags a lot of the time.
The best bit is the Hopper chainsaw sequence though. ;)
