Hi there,
Hopefully someone can help out with a question from a newbie to surround-sound setups - I tried searching on this through the forums but couldn't find an answer.
Question is: I need to connect my Toshiba SD2109 to a Sony AV receiver, which I'll be getting in about ten days' time. I'm going to use co-ax to connect the two beasts, but what's the maximum length of co-ax that I can reasonably use?
Ideally I'd like to site the amp on top of my existing hi-fi separates stack, but that's approx. 3.5m away from the DVD player. Can I get a digital output co-ax cable of this length? I've looked around a few websites today but can't seem to find any co-ax cables longer than 1m.
What should I be asking for?
Sorry to be such a div...
