Looking at getting a Bluetooth kit for the car and like the look of the MK6100, anyone got one? Anyone used one with an iPhone?!

All advice greatfully received.

Not that model but I have an earlier one mk3100 or mk3000 I think. I looked at the higher spec models and eventually rejected them as my phones all have voice dial built in and can be activated by the parrots voice activation. I figured I's sooner have just my phone address book to manage rather than one in the car too. It's also easier to hide as I never need to press the controls so no need for a display as callers are announced when connected. Assuming the iphone has a good voice dialler then I'd just go for the base model.

That could be the very problem, the address book on the iPhone is hideous if someone has more than one number

I think that there is a parrot forum. I'd have a read on there as both myself and a colleague have had trouble with the Parrot kits not releasing the connection following a call but in both circumstances resolved with new ROMs on the phone.

I've got the Parrott CK3100 fitted in my car and it works really well - the only annoying thing is it occasionally goes into 'voice recognition' mode when I've not asked it to dial a number.

Apart from that, it's great :)
