i just recently bought Fargo. The first time I watched it, I noticed something odd in the credits.
There is an odd credit, 'Victim is field' is credited as Prince, in fact, it has that ponsey symbol that prince uses instead of a name now.

The credits are listed in order of appearence so I worked out who it was refering to and it seems to be refering to the guy who
sees Steve Buscemi's psychooptic cohort shoot the patrolman. He then gets chased down by the nutter and shot in the back while trying to run away.

The guy in question, however doesn't exactly fit Prince's description being a podgy white fella.

I forget his name, but if you look up IMDB (http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0116282) you will find that it is some guy who has worked on most Coen Bros' films - I think they put in the Prince symbol as a joke.

quoted from imdb..

"Prince was NOT in Fargo (1996), although something resembling his symbol did appear in the credits as Victim in Field. The real person who played the part was a worker on the set, and chose to put Prince's symbol in the credits as a joke."
