is this show still canceled in the states? will WE see the next series on DVD this year or is season one all were getting. i enjoyed the first series a lot but i feel the second series to be much funnier and would really like to see it on DVD.:)

it nearly got canned but it was saved at the last minute.
As they say in one of the songs from the show...'Fox will keep us till we go into syndication....hopefully'.
( Syndication means about 70+ episodes. So the cable channels can repeat them endlesly)

Not been canned yet. A mate had a vid of one of the season 4 episodes where the family joining the witness protection scheme - very very funny with some great subplots. IMO thi shsow gets better with each season.
its been axed before I think, but Fox changed their minds....and now its apparently been axed for good when Season 4 finishes (which continues to be hilarious!)...
check out Planet Family Guy (http://www.planetfamilyguy.com) for more info, they also have a petition running to save family guy.
They claim the UK is definitely getting Season 2 this year on DVD.
