It would not surprise me at all if Ginge went and resurrected him with a new chip later though.

Anyway, so so episode. Too much psychobabble. Having said that, the ending gave a sense of inevitability to everything. No matter how they may think they can change the future, Fischer still ends up banged away and likely for life and Ellison delivering the body to Ginge just means the whole Judgement Day is even more certain.
One notable optical illusion at the end:
Ginge's grey dress seemed to give her the mother of all pokies - but it wasn't really :D
