Hi, anyone makes video calls on O2?
I bought a 3G enabled phone (SPV M700) so that i could make free video calls and never managed to make a single one.
Always comes up as unavailable.
Is it my phone?

Do you definitely have a 3G sim card?

Have tried video calling on o2 with both a Samsung Omnia (Windows Mobile) and a Nokia N95-8GB (Symbian) so it definitely works.

Sorry, I don't know if my sim card is 3G.
Any easy way to find out?

Well, I know that with my N95 I can choose to switch 3G network use on or off. When it is on and the phone can use a 3G signal there is a 3G logo on the screen.

Give yours a try and see if it does the same. If you can switch on the 3G network and it does show a different logo on screen, then there is a different problem with the video calling.

The problem, i think was my sim card not being 3G.
A new one on the way.
Thanks for the help.

incidentally, one way to check if you have a 3G sim with O2 is that 3G will be printed on the sim card itself.
