Wii Monopoly

IS this any good?

Checked out a few reviews and they dont sound great.

Anybody played it yet?

It's basically just the board game on the Wii - so on that level it isn't that good (as opposed to just playing the board game) other than you can play on your own against 3 CPU players of varying skill.

The quick game variations are quite good though.There is one which is like Mario Party ... each round is a mini-game, each player then effectively gets to choose how many rolls of the dice they HAVE to take that round. If you land on a free property you HAVE to buy it, if you land on an owned one normal rules apply. As the game progresses (and, obviously, more and more properties are taken) then strategy comes into it

But, in summary, in it's basic form it doesn't really add much over and above the board game (unless you're on your own).
