Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy

So I've found the hidden feature on disc 2 (hit 'left' button from communicate and an extra planet is displayed), but the hidden feature on disc 1 (hit 'left' button on setup option) needs a code. I've tried the obvious ones (4200, 0042) but I'm flummoxed.

Anyone know what the code is and whether the hidden feature is worth all this effort?

ALso, there is more than 1 Easter Egg on disc 2.
