Panny PW& not working with an AV Switcher ?

Connecting my Austar box (i've moved to Australia), a DVD player and a Wii to my PW7 panel via a Crest Platinum AV Switcher

The output is Component and the Austar and DVD are currently connected to the switch Via simply AV (red yellow and white) leads


I can get sound through the box, but i cannot get Video

Do the boxes need to be connected to the switcher also by component ?

most probabaly, rca and component are different but it depends on the spec of the switch.
the description of this product is "Automatic 4 Way Component Switch Box"

I went out and bought new component leads for all the devices and it works a treat
