The only thing with these Sony budget LCD's is that there's no motionflow 100 hz processing and for fast moving stuff like footy and tennis you really need 100 hz.
Also available at Amazon.co.uk (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=8&url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0018PKEIY/thedvdforums-21) for £329 with free 3 year warranty.

My parents picked up this deal today along with a TV stand and an LG home theater system for £499.99. Bargain IMO. Supposedly they are selling 'like hotcakes', which explains why they have to wait till Dec 2nd for it to be delivered!
Although I personally would have gone for the ~£399.99 Samsung 32" and got better speakers elsewhere...like the 600w Philips HTS3357 :]
£319.95 at http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=SONY-KDL32V4000U though only a 1 year warranty at that price.
As usual a 5 year deal adds 10% making it £351.90...

Or just get it from John Lewis and get them to price match Richersounds. So That would be £319.95 with 5 years cover from JL. Just remember the magic price matching option and JL nearly always win.
John Lewis now out of stock instore or not taking any more orders (via telephone)

Recently bought the KDL 32V4000 Bravia T.V. and now have a Sony dz260 cinema system. The only option I appear to have in connecting them together is to either use a scart lead (not considered the best ) or use a HDMI cable, which then will allow me to use the Bravia sync facility. However other options available on the DZ260 are for an optical cable or a digital coax. The 32V4000 can't cater for either of these. Any suggestions as to whether I can get a digital coax to phono lead conversion as this appears to be my only option in trying to increase the quality of sound.
You should use hdmi between your television and the DZ260 as it'll give you better quality video from the built in dvd player than using scart - the optical and coaxial connections are audio inputs for direct connection of additional sources such as a games console or satellite/cable box (so it's able to decode Dolby Digital or DTS surround for example). If you're talking about the internal terrestrial tuner on the television, then you could output this to the Sony DS260 home theatre package via the left and right rca phono outputs on the back of the television. You'll need a cable that has a 3.5mm jack on the other end or an adapter on a regular phono to phono cable (which unfortunately would have to be plugged into the front mounted socket on the DZ260 since it doesn't have any rear analogue inputs). There would be no sound quality advantage converting the analogue output from the television to digital audio - bear in mind that as the television's output is stereo, you'd need to process this with Dolby Prologic II to give you pseudo surround (hence the suggestion to connect any proper surround sound sources directly if you want to play them back via the DZ260).
