Can anyone recommend a player for my nephew, its his 18th birthday in April!
Richer Sounds seem to do some good deals..
I got a Cyberhome 528 for my in laws as a Christmas present. I gave it a test run before delivery by santa and was pretty impressed for the price. I got from Unbeatable for £110 but I think Richer do it cheaper.

We bought a Pioneer 340 m/r from richer for my brother at christmas. Took it back on the 27th cos it wasn't multi-region, the guy said none of that months batch had been modded properly. However, they did give him the 200 quid Limit one as a replacement...
That said, I also got eh Cyberhome 512, seemed like great value cos you can replace the firmware on it to allow multiregion and disable macro, but most movies skip like a kangaroo on it. My mate has one and said it's fine though, I guess I just don't have much luck buying players...
Also from richer, we got an ex demo m/r Sammy 709 for a hundred quid, one of the best players I've used.

I bought a Reoc A5 from Safeway (£139) before Christmas, made it multi region and it will play anything including RCE discs. No macro off but you can buy leads for this arround £30.
Tesco do a player "Dansi" I think (£99) I have heard this is a good buy too.
