The £17.99 ones were White only... if the colour is important to you
mine came today of these ... quite good... really good fit and noise reduction... sound is good but doesnt particularly blow me away on most tracks... actually quite good on acoustic type sounding tunes though
Try running them in for 10-20 hours. Had a pair this morning and left them running in (had a wee listen as well). The stereo separation is exceptional, you can hear a through a greater range and it generally feels tighter. I'm now starting to hear further even more instruments (high hats, obscure drum beats) on some tracks, some proving distracting. This may be part due to the better sound isolation with the Shures.
Comparison done with the Senheiser cx300 which I've had for 2+ years which replaced the Sony-EX71 (2+ years) which on reflection were poor, bass distorting earphones. Will stick with these unless i can find a deal on some UE 5 pros
Dont get me wrong i think they are a really good set of earphones well worth the 20 odd quid you can get them for but i have seen these earphones going for 80 quid in places and i dont think they are worth that. To be honest with them being shure i dont know what i was expecting, possibly brilliance with their pedigree in microphones and this being basically the same technology
