Playing the pc demo and it looks fine on my pc. Runs silky smooth at 1920x1200 with everything maxed.

Yes it is the 'now looking dated' source engine. If it's a good gfx zombie game you're after then buy COD world at war which has a co-op zombie bit in it.

Left 4 dead does look a good game though.

Graphics? Some of the greatest games ever made look rubbish, doesn't stop them from being great. Besides the graphics are fine.

At least the source engine means most people won't have to run this in 'flickbookovision' on their PCs. Which is a good thing.

Just played the XBox 360 demo over the weekend and IMO this is absolutely superb - Best game Ive played in ages.

Bbut then I suppose given its from the Half Life 2/Orange Box guys thats to be expected.

Nice price - I'm tempted.

This game is an absolute blast. I've been playing the demo over and over again and despite only having 2 sections, every time you play is different. The game adapts to how you play and items like weapons may or not appear in the same place each time. Just listening to the burping and vomiting in surround sound is awesome.

Just also read that the full version features 8 player online with 4 survivors in a boarded up house vs 4 others controllilng the zombies.

Soooo much fun.

What happens if you pre-order on Amazon - will it turn up on the day of release or a few days later?
