VPN/Exhange/Outlook/Windows Mobile 6

Is it possible to connect to my companies exchange server using VPN to read my outlook email?

I have just today been set up with VPN access (I have a fob that I put a PIN into and enter the generated code - is it called "Challenge Response"?).

At present, I am using the Check-Point VPN-1 client to connect on my XP laptop but given I've got this all-singing phone that appears to support both outlook and VPN then I'd love to take advantage of it.

emails on a windows mobile device - do you have outlook web access set up? If so then the windows mobile can connect through that.

As for outlook on the pc, it depends how the vpn is set up. You'll need to know if it's got a tunnel and if the right ports and routes are open on the tunnel for you to connect to the exchange server.

PC is working fine - they installed the VPN client allowing me access to the network and the email server as if I was in the office.

Mobile-wise - no, OWA is not enabled as it's seen as a "security risk" here :thinking:
