I need a macrovision defeat hack for a DV-344, or if not, a DV-343 or even a DV-535. Is there one?

There are no hacks for Pioneer players...

The only option is chipping or an external device such as the mac master.

Are you absolutely sure, Simes? That sounds so unfair. Chipping for MacroVision in this part of the world now attracts a fine in the vicinity of 140,000 quid per "offence" for any dealer or service agent who tries it and is caught, after they tightened up on it last year. Result? No chance of a chip through any channels I know of. Talk about corporate muscle! What other kind of "illegal" activity would attract that kind of fine?

I figured that there are so many region code hacks for Pioneer that there must be at least one for macro...oh well....
