How do!

With "The Dark Knight" soon to be released, I am seriously tempted for the first time to buy a Blue-Ray player.

With the cheapest decent player on play being £150 its a sizable chunck of cash to throw at the format to get started, my question is, how long is Blue-Ray going to last, will be it replaced very soon? Is it going to take over from DVD or will DVD remain for the forseeable future?

Dont wanna be in a position where I fork out a load of money on a player and films and then see it phased out...

Thanks

have a look over in the HD area - plenty of debate going on over there

Have you already tried an upscaling DVD player? The improvement with that might be all you seek. I assume you've a big TV with HDMI input?

Plenty of debate, but the only question you really need to ask is do you want to watch films in HD on a disc based format. If the answer is yes, then go for it. I would, perhaps, wait until The Dark Knight is released as there are bound to be offers about.

Yep, I certainly have.
