Pioneer DV444-K DVD/CD/CD-R/MP3 player

I bought the Pioneer DV444 in the Netherlands.

I doesn't seem to play Gladiator DVD I got from the USA NY, when I bought the player I check and found it to be reign free with RC1 option. I don't know what to do now:confused:

I tried to use the country selection I put (2119) US but it still doesn't work.

When I put the Gladiator DVD the Pioneer DV444 says Wrong Reign or something similar:nuts:


Can someone help me? Maybe some hack or something:confused:

Did you buy the player as " modified for multiregion" ?

They are not multiregion as standard. You have to buy a modified player.

If you just bought a standard player it will only play R2.There is no hack - it needs modifiying or chipping.

1 Turn on your DVD player without a disc
2 Press "Setup"
3 Press "right Arrow" until "General" is selected
4 Press the down arrow once
5 Press "Display"
6 Press "Condition Memory"
7 Press "1", "2", "3", "4", "5" or "6" for the Region
9 Press "setup"

After this the unit is ready to play the selected region.

Only if its been modified for multiregion first .... :)
