Sixth Sense missing scenes?

After watching the Sixth Sense VS last night I happened to watch the theatrical trailer for the first time and noticed a few scenes that are missing from the film itself and are not to be found in the deleted scenes section either.

They relate to where Malcolm is almost run over by a car and where Cole and his mother are in their car and there seems to be sheets of paper being blown over the windscreen.

Anyone have any info on these and their relevance to the story?

Also, in the trailer "she broke her neck" became "she died" in the film. This often happens in trailers. If you have the new Atlantis Collector's DVD set you'll notice the Viking Prologue deleted scene is in some of the trailers, but it was cut from the film quite late on.

I think these and other such examples are usually mentioned on the IMDB.
One I remember is the trailer for bad boys (Will smith) It shows a scene with him and two women. One is in the shower. This was cut from the film.

Dirty rotten Scoundrels (sp.) has a scene in the trailer where some guy gets pushed off a wall or something but that never made it to the film
