Excellent, that's my wifes Christmas present sorted
Well apart from everything else I'll end up getting for her :cuckoo:
Does anyone know if these have the widescreen episode where available - I seem to remember Buffy being all 4:3 in one of the other box sets...
IIRC Season 4 of buffy is released in widescreen on DVD but was shot for 4:3 so in some episodes there are a couple of scenes that have bars at the side. At least that is how my original DVD set looks on a couple of episodes. Certainly not full episodes that are messed up.
The R1 release was 4:3 though for the full season I think.
The R1 release is 4:3 for all seasons.
Buffy that is! Joss Whedon filmed it with this in mind. I won't start the whole fullscreen/widescreen argument that this always brings us though!

grrr, I can remember paying that price for individual seasons!

Rats! Bring back the Amazon 30 day price guarantee!
Actually, I read elsewhere (I think) that Amazon were now offering a 7 day price guarantee, although they were keeping very quiet about it. But I ordered my Buffy set on 28 October, so I wouldn't qualify anyway.
If anyone is worried about Home Delivery Network (HDN), Amazon sent mine on 29 Oct using the HDN trackable service, and the HDN driver brought the package to my door to get a signature, the very next day (30 Oct). Beautifully packed, too, in a cardboard box.
The complete Angel collection is now £47.99 at Zavvi:

Are you sure? The old POPG counted from the shipping date, not the order date, so maybe you could still be in luck? Worth a try? ;)
Bump for this with new lower prices

Both of these have dropped it price, the first post has now been updated to show this.
Was just about to order Angel, having thought about it for 10 days plus.
Seems to have gone up to £76.47
Bugger.:brickwall
Any likelihood it'll go back down ?.
Are there supply problems currently ? as thats one heck up a pricehike for effectively an overnight change.
It has been up and down a lot since I first started this thread so it is worth keeping an eye on.

Cheers, will do.
Somewhat suspiciously, since I posted this thread (and whilst I had an ebay uk "buy it now" listing open in my browser) a seller has ended a listed for Angel for £58.95, saying that they have ended it early, due to an error in the listing.
Coincidence ? or should I recheck for it being relisted at a higher price ?.;)
