In my own experience A B Sound, even when they are showing 2 to 3 weeks avilability the stuff usually turns up a lot sooner, if it's in stock then usually 4 - 5 days
www.dv-depot.com ! Canadian and the bestestest DVD supplier I can think of :)

For multiple orders - DV-Depot have an awesome customs free DHL 3 day delivery service.
Given absound's shipping prices what is dv-depot's policy on shipping pre-order titles - do they ship when available or do they wait until all are in stock? Just considering a pre-order using their DHL option (allowing 9 discs) but the order would span 2 months.

Generally very pleased with ABSound recently - they seem to have recovered well from the credit card fiasco a while back. Good choice, great prices, and speedy delivery.
Don't think they're customs friendly like DVD Box Office, though. Correct me if I'm wrong!
I think you can be caught with absound but I've never had a problem. They tend to pack the disks in sensibly sized small boxes which don't draw too much attention even if you buy 2 or 3 disks at a time.

Gotta be Dv-Depot. Without a doubt. Try em out - you'll never look back...

Unfortunately, you have to pay the $9.95 per delivery - but, if you can wait, they'll hold pre-order items as they become available for up to a month for you
ABSound definately - prices are great

Not worth risking multiple disc orders with AB Sound as you don't really save much on the shipping and you'll run the risk of the dreaded.
As I said, keep to single disc orders at AB - their prices are sooo cheap it makes little difference.
But for box sets & multiple orders use DV-Depot - if you want to use the DHL option. You'll have to wait until they're all in stock to get the full benefit, though.
Baps - sorry for any misunderstanding there. I've been using absound for ages as my number 1 supplier of R1 discs. I never order more than one at a time. But their recent price increase, particularly for double discs, is making them less competitive ($11 for two discs :() so was looking at an alternative option i.e. ordering a shed load dv-depot :) The problem is the order would span two months and whilst I'm fairly patient I'm not really patient enough to wait 2 months to fulfill the order.

That's why I said use AB Sound for <size=large><u>SINGLE DISC</u></size> orders.
BTW - Even if you only ordered 3x titles at once from DV-Depot it's still only 2 quid a pop for 3 day customs free delivery. No need to wait for 2 months, unless you're tighter than a duck's arse of course.. :p

I always read about ABSound and customs worries.Perhaps i am lucky but my last 30 discs, including 6 on saturday have got through with no problems.I always get bulk orders,as buying 1 is frankly boring.Save up your wants, and get them all on the same day :D
