View Full Version : Easy to use Nokia?

I need a basic Nokia phone for a christmas present for my Mum. She is 100% not tech savvy so something basic would do the job. All she'd really use it for is phoning and receiving text messages (she doesn't even do replying).
Ideally it should also have a decent-ish camera in case she wants to take photos of things.
Does such a thing exist for less than £100?
Any of the Nokia 1xxx, 2xxx or 3xxx designated models would probably do the job, although they don't tend to come with cameras (or at least only VGA ones, if they do).
For something slightly higher specced, and a very nice phone too, I'd suggested the 6300. It's fairly user friendly anyway but set the main menu to List Layout and add a couple of shortcuts (soft key or d-pad) for the features she's likely to access the most and it'll be a breeze for her to use. Camera isn't great (only 2MP and no flash) but is reasonable enough for the odd snap. Can be had for around £80 on most networks.
