Hi,

Can someone please post some links for refurbished monitors sites.
I'm after something like a 17 or 19 inch monitor which will go to 1600x1200 but can'' really afford a BRAND new one so refurn is my only other option.

Thanks,

Busby

I'm pretty sure http://www.dabs.com do refurbished items.

edit: I've just checked they only have 15" ones at the moment, sorry.

You could try Digi-UK (http://www.digi-uk.co.uk), but you may well have to wait some time to get the monitor depending on present stock levels. :(

I think www.goaluk.net/mon.htm is what you`re after.

I bought my recon IBM 17" P76 from them and I`m thoroughly satisfied with it and the service from Goal. :)

Have you tried QXL or even auction sites like ebay for cheap bargains? If you use Kelkoo you migh find some cheap stuff just depends on what price range you're talking about. Morgan computers have 17" for £93.99.

Busby,
You may want to read my post on digi-uk before choosing them :(

Take a look at www.ebuyer.com before you buy a refurb.

The price on some of the sites that sell refurbs is stupid. You can buy a new monitor with 3 yr guarantee for the same price (and usually with better specs).
Remember to consider delivery charges too.

Monitors are expensive on the auction sites too :(
