View Full Version : Possible to get out of Three contract?

Hi
We've been with Three for quite a long while and have been happy up until a couple of months ago when for no apparent reason it has become nigh on impossible to get a signal at home or where my wife works about 5 miles away. Previously we have had no problems with reception at all. Does anyone know if this will be enough to end our contract with them... we're paying for a service that they aren't providing after all. I haven't been in touch with Three's 'legendary' CS dept yet but just wondered if anyone had any idea if this was sufficient grounds for terminating the contract.

cheers

I highly doubt they will listen to your case mate. Unless you can physically prove they have done something to disrupt your service as that is literally the only glimmer of hope I think.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I did it m8.Signal at home was spot on for 3 or 4 years then all of a sudden at the end of August signal dropped completely.Turns out they have changed their roaming partner from 02 to Orange and they have been switching their system from one to the other over the past 18 months. Our 02 signal was only turned off at the end of August and we were changed to orange(never been a signal for orange in my village).Phoned them up and jumped through hoops but after turning down their kind offer of half price line rental for 2 months.Told them I was paying for a service that they were not providing and I wanted my pac code.

Don't let them fob you off, stick to your guns and they will give in.

Good luck:thumbs:

Thanks for the replies chaps. And thanks for the encouragement esw2002, it's good to know a possible cause for this sudden drop in signal - we live in a rural area and I expect the same thing has happened here. Glad that you managed to get a positive outcome.

cheers

did you used to get 2G or 3G? If you were on O2 as the roaming partner it would of been 2G signal.

Where are you? Dunno if I can help but I might be able to. Mail me on xxx cause frankly I rarely visit the mobile forum.
