Wondering if anyone can help me find a half-decent supplier for car mp3 players, to replace the standard radio. I've been searching, yet can't find a supplier who has any sort of choice!

Does anybody know somewhere which sells a range of players (preferrably cheap!) which I can look at?

Cheers,

Paul

They were selling them at The Bowlers computer fair at Manchester just before Xmas Paul. Didnt get a fix on the price or the trader but I have seen them there twice now...:)

I bought the budget MP3 player by Kenwood (MP6090R) from www.cel-direct.co.uk last week, £20 cheaper than anywhere else at £220 + £10 delivery (next best place was www.caraudiodirect.co.uk at £250 including delivery).

If you're thinking about this unit, it's great, apart from the slow loading time of about 3 to 4 seconds between tracks. A 2 second gap is standard on CD's, but 3 or 4 is just a little too long. The navigation system takes a little getting use to, but at the price there's no alternative. Halfords stock it if you want to have a play with it. Looks cool though with the big blue button  .

Might be worth looking here:

I know its an auction but the car mp3 units have a buy price of £96 and ship direct from Canada (£25 shipping)

and you can pay by credit card according to the auction so you are covered if anything happens.
