I'm after a cordless drill, probably around the £50-£60 pound mark.

Can anyone recommend one and/or where is the best place to get one?

I noticed B&Q were flogging one of the high voltage red Black & Decker ones for a decent price when I was in there the other day.

I think it was this (http://www.diy.com/bq/product/product.jhtml?PRODID=91801&paintCatId=&CATID=62362) one, but I've just noticed this (http://www.diy.com/bq/product/product.jhtml?PRODID=87414&paintCatId=&CATID=62362) one and I'm now tempted myself.

Try Homebase i picked up a Black and Decker 14.4v (firestorm)Cordless 2 speed , 14 torque settings , free extra battery and free torch that fit in a nice case , cost £39.99 (half price at the moment, should be £79.99), seing as a new battery would cost £30 and the torch is around £20 its a complete bargain !!

Oh and u get a 2 year guarantee !!

Its like one http://www.diy.com/bq/product/product.jhtml?PRODID=91801&paintCatId=&CATID=62362 but with a free battery and torch (could not find it on the Homebase site but they had some in my local store tonight.

....have a lok at B&Q's SITE range....some of the more expensive models have the same motors as those used in De Walt drills (Mabuchi) and Jacobs chucks, for a fraction of the price.....I know this because I work for B&Q. Not sure about prices. The Performance Power Pro brand is quite well specced as well, and comes with a three year guarantee...its a bit cheaper than the site range so may be more up your street.

........... this may be slightly above your price range but it comes with two batteries:
